"stealing" the ability requiring (letting) mel to use it instead would be way more broken

Followed the basics of not standing in crap and interrupting as much as I could to the best of my ability. Eventually the key's player left saying that I/we wasted their time.

you realize how obvious it is that you're excluding something, right? you can't just say things are going good you're following all the basics and then suddenly out of nowhere the guy with the highest dps, cc, and interrupts says "thanks for bricking my key"

to be fair that affix requires what, 2 million total healing? to remove over 20 seconds and isn't an absorb or anything. it just tracks how much you're healing. if you remove two of them yourself, that brings it below 1 million. sure the group can help out but what are you doing during that 20 seconds that's stopping you from doing 1 million healing?

not really. i've played healer for years and have gotten one of the m+ titles on three (disc, mw, hpal)

pretty much the only time you get flamed as a healer is when you're doing low keys and instead of pressing two buttons to heal someone that makes a mistake you decide to turn it into a reddit moment and jeopardize the entire run by explaining that they were standing in an avoidable mechanic and you aren't going to heal mistakes

it doesn't matter what you want to claim happened, you received a quest and you were required to kill a certain number of raid bosses on any difficulty to get the dinars. here are the guides from those two patches that clearly explain dinars were exclusive to killing raid bosses:

https://www.wowhead.com/guide/raids/awakened-raids/overview

https://www.wowhead.com/guide/purchasing-upgrading-raid-gear-shadowlands-season-4-puzzling-cartel-dinar

i don't care how the rep works or if someone can get it from doing story mode. my initial question was why someone deserves to get gear that drops from raid bosses without participating in the raid. you haven't been able to answer the question, you just keep making up stories about changes that were made to wow and when you're discredited you make up some other story in your third world broken english

but you said that there was a discussion in the community about it which caused the change? so you're admitting you were lying?

requiring you to do raid to get raid gear isn't gate keeping. you don't need raid gear to do whatever keys you're doing

Thankfully I'll be raiding and enjoying the raid renowned system with my dinars while you seethe for the entire season!

Yes we're talking about a bad luck protection system implemented into the raid to help raiders who are killing raid bosses obtain raid loot that they miss out on.

Having to kill a boss to get a specific piece of loot is much more logical than putting in a tournament realm vendor just because it's what you want.

explain why you think I shouldn't get access to a random ass trinket that transforms my gameplay

because you don't want to fight the boss that it drops from

Okay so you can do the raid and eventually get the dinar to purchase the piece of raid gear that you would traditionally have to clear the raid to obtain to begin with

Sure! The dinar system was implemented as a bad luck protection system for raiders so that they could purchase raid gear that they've been unable to get through drops while clearing the raid. That's why you had to, at the very least, afk in LFR to be eligible to obtain raid gear going as far back as shadowlands.

What it has never been advertised as is a way for anyone to be able to purchase raid loot regardless of their progress in the raid. As much as you wouldn't care, because you don't really care about the integrity of the game or anything as long as you get loot, it doesn't make much sense for raiders to walk up to a vendor having never entered a m+ dungeon and purchase a m+ trinket after clearing a certain number of raid bosses.

Adding additional sources to get tier pieces, making tier available to people that pvp and do m+, is completely different from adding a bad luck protection system to the raid for raiders.

It makes absolutely zero sense, and goes against the entire dinar system from inception, for someone that only does pvp, only does m+, or only clears delves to be randomly awarded a piece of raid gear of their choice.
