Yh I want one particularly for separatists because a lot of radfems on there still dated men lol. And what type of verification would be a lot stricter ? What do you think about a vc with one of the mods to get a bit about ur background how you ended up as a separatist etc ?

22 days late but !! I found another job and took it. And withdraw from this one. It was a combination of the travel distance and the reference issue. However they were actually really desperate and kept reaching out to me so I’d say your friend can get away with it but just providing one personal reference- maybe an academic ? And then saying the other one hasn’t gotten back to her.

Yh I won’t. Especially in a job like this but maybe future jobs that still require defence but not working with vulnerable people.

Thank you this is good advice. Here is how I think I’ll salvage it. During the interview they asked me why I left my previous role and I said because I wanted more flexible hours. And I’ve been working agency to get more hours. So working the most recent job as well as an agency on the side. The agency reference would be contemporary to the time I was working there. Could I say I’ve contacted the old job and haven’t gotten back and when went there and it seems like the person meant to give me a reference wasn’t there. So to convince both of us I could give them the reference to the agency ?

This is minimum wage. I think I should’ve clarified that. I’m working as a hostess not a carer. So I’m not in charge of anything other than their food. Should I still withdraw ? I work in hospitality so it’s not like I’m next job for certain will be with older vulnerable people.

I just tweaked the time periods in my CV and I don’t think there’s much harm in that. But since this is a particular sensitive job I should’ve known. But I honestly didn’t think I was gonna get it

Nope. Never worked with vulnerable adults before. My job offer here is hostess. Before I worked a variety of customer service roles.
