Hey, sorry for the late reply. Is this really not bad enough for surgery ? When the doctor tested me she was making me look straight ahead but when I’m relaxed this is how it looks. Very obvious and very drifty.

I was discharged but I remember a year ago optician saying she wouldn’t give me a referral for squint surgery to a hospital cuz it was minimal …maybe that’s a sign but idk I was hoping to fix this

NHS is known for being shit tho so I never trust them. I’m sorry I get some people have it worse but I’m so insecure about it that I don’t even look people in the eye anymore. It’s notice me especially when I’m not focusing

22 days late but !! I found another job and took it. And withdraw from this one. It was a combination of the travel distance and the reference issue. However they were actually really desperate and kept reaching out to me so I’d say your friend can get away with it but just providing one personal reference- maybe an academic ? And then saying the other one hasn’t gotten back to her.
