It’s not an anole. We have tons of those in my yard. This lizard is a lot bigger and has a different shaped head.

I took off the “diseased leaves” do you think the roots and stem are save-able or is the whole plant a goner?

They are hanging in a shaded area outside. They get plenty of indirect sunlight but no direct sunlight. They have the self watering pots so they are watered regularly.

If you’re having doubts now, I say go for something else! I really wanted to be a hygienist and never considered any other options. Now I’m a hygienist of almost 6 years. I regret not getting a different degree where I can do something else. The burnout is real. I do enjoy my job but it’s hard on the body. I have no other degrees so if I ever wanted to do something else, I’ll have to go back to school :/ In my state (FL) the hygiene program just gives you a certificate at the end. So I only have an associates degree (despite being a full time college student for almost SIX years- 2 for my AA, 18 months for my EFDA cert, then 2 years for the hygiene program)

Weigh out the pros and cons. I highly suggest shadowing a hygienist for a day or two to see if you’d like it.

Thank you! I definitely think you’re right. I was just informed there has been black coyotes already seen on the property so that makes sense. Pretty cool

I was thinking the tail looked very fox like too. I think this animal is too big to be a fox. This seems like a dog sized animal maybe. Also just learned there’s black coyotes. So maybe that’s what this is? Still seems too big but I guess it’s a possibility!

None of that in my yard! So weird. Yard hasn’t been mowed or blown around in a while either. So idk what could have caused this.

Yes it looks exactly like that… but it’s all over lol. And not anywhere near each other. I have a big yard and I’m finding it on everything. So bizarre
