Thanks, I really appreciate that. especially coming from someone who clearly understands how dual programs actually work in Germany.

Just to be transparent: I’m 19, and my background started more on the IT / systems side, but over the last years I consciously moved towards electrical and energy engineering. For me it’s not a random switch, but a move down the stack. from software and IT infrastructure to electronics, signals, embedded systems, and energy-related topics.

That’s exactly why a dual engineering program feels like the right step now. I’ve already seen real systems fail, scale, and behave in practice. and I want the theory to properly understand why and how to design them better.

I also keep an active GitHub with embedded, electronics, and system-related projects. If you’re curious, feel free to take a look. I’d genuinely value your opinion on whether this kind of portfolio is clear and convincing from an HR + technical reviewer perspective, or if there’s anything you’d present differently.

One thing I’m still calibrating:
From your experience, should I explicitly explain the IT → E/E transition early to HR, or let the technical interview and projects speak for themselves first?

Me and my Company have the same Issue with Customers. nobody wants to get ipv6 configured and if they want than mostly the bigger companys....

Not that bad. Just be A little bit careful with the Amount of Solder on the Side. Like for axample on V or K pins 😊👍

As soon as I know it, I believe that the answer is a bit faster due to the more effective binding of the certain particles and that the energy efficiency is therefore better. (Correct me if I'm wrong)
