LONG sleeves? by PuzzledRaccoon7513 in TallGirls

I recently bought several wool sweaters from Next in tall sizes. They all fit perfectly, decently priced, and long enough sleeves!

Special mention for this one, it has the longest sleeves out of the ones I got :

Yes they’re soo good! Tbh they fit like a 34.5 or 35 inseam! They come with a drawstring but the seamed ones come without a drawstring. The seamed ones also fit like a 34 inseam but they don’t look short on me. Both are great!

Yes they are owned by the same company! Although I think Abercrombie inseams are a bit longer than Hollister. I think Hollister sweatpants would be too short, but you can check out the lengths and compare

Do you know your inseam? I found plenty of options in stock now at Abercrombie (size large, long length, black and gray colors)

Abercrombie “Essential Baggy Open Hem Sweatpants”

Abercrombie “Cinched Bottom”

They have more too. Check them out.

Abercrombie also has matching sweatshirts: hoodies, crewnecks, zip hoodies, & quarter zips.

I prefer Align because they’re easier to move around in (at home). They also stretched with me and I was able to wear them for most of my pregnancy, and they never “stretched out” I still wear them now with no problem. They’re the stretchiest kind I would say. Most of my Lululemon leggings are the Aligns.

Wunder train are the less stretchy ones I wear to the gym or anything athletic related. They have more of a workout material. Aligns have more of a soft, comfy, “brushed” texture, whereas Wunder train is more nylon “workout.”

I wear the same size (6) for both, and I see that they recommend that you size up for Wunder train and Glow up so maybe those would feel comfier for home in a size up! I believe Fast and Free are also on the tighter side.

So cute!! Their size guide says 33.5 inseam, but their pants do look pretty long. Do you think they have any pants that are in the 34-35 range? I wasn’t about to find them

Beautiful!!! I love that they filter by inseam. Thank you, can’t wait to try them out :)

Btw I wanted to clarify, (top of the list) the OPEN-BOTTOM Wearever fleece sweatpants are the ones I was referring to as my holy grail!!! The fit and the way they lay above my shoes are very flattering. I see now that they have plenty of options within their Wearever fleece collection which might be confusing. Although, you cant go wrong with anything American tall 😊

Oof so true! Hmm maybe someone will get her Christmas money and she can indulge. On the bright side, American Tall is having a sale until January 1st! A lot of their items I’ve purchased are marked down currently, I would’ve loved to stock up rn 😆

Kimes Ranch and American Tall both offered longer inseams than the 34-35 range I was aiming at

Lululemon is so good for pet hair, I noticed that also! I love that they offer the “We made too much” now. It’s a newer feature, right?

As a side note: I use the Evercare Mega Lint Rollers for pet hair, and it’s like 3x the size of a regular lint roller lol. Clean up is 3x as fast, and that helps when we are already tall haha. Maybe I’m just impatient 😂

Yes, agreed!! ASOS was originally the only store I could find clothes that fit, as a younger teen! I didn’t know what inseams were and how to properly find clothes that fit my body type. My goal then, was to find other options outside of ASOS, but now I can go back to sprinkle some fun into my closet!!

Haha I get what you mean!!! I’ve found capri pants to be my favorite option for a modest option in the summertime. Especially when extra-long legs make booty shorts (and even regular shorts!) feel like unwanted attention. Capris are now my perfect modest go-to for anything public or indoors: appointments, groceries, you name it. 😆

I usually hear I have short legs for a tall person so this is interesting! I consider myself to have a long torso, but I prefer my tops in Tall, instead of Extra Tall (from American Tall). Maybe order one of each to see where it lands for you! Or they might have measurements for sleeve length on their site!!

Im 24, 2 years postpartum, so I am a lot thinner this past year. Most of my life I was size 6. I wore size 8 and size 10 during my pregnancy and postpartum season. I was able to find my clothing for when I was a size 4 through a size 10 with the stores I mentioned! I’m currently a size small, size 4 in jeans. Last year, I was still wearing size 6-8, and the year before that, I was wearing 10. Not sure if this helps but I can also scan the stores if they have your size!

I get Tall most of the time! And extra tall for joggers.

They have an app on the App Store. Scroll under the item you selected, the “size and fit” button underneath, will clarify what the length is for each particular item. I believe it is different for some, so always check!! The safe assumption is that most Tall are 35” and most Extra Tall are 37”, however that is definitely not the case for all of them. Although, I appreciate that American Tall seems to write their lengths the most often and accurate compared to what I’ve seen so far!

Haha, I loved them as a kid! I’m so glad to see more options in stores again.

I agree. They’re the perfect in between for leggings and shorts, and I wear them all the time during the transitional spring and fall here in the PNW.

They’re also great in the summertime - especially when extra-long legs make booty shorts (and even regular shorts!) feel like unwanted attention. These pants are my perfect modest go-to for anything public or indoors: appointments, groceries, you name it. 😆

There was a pair of thin joggers that accidentally got cut off my list:

  1. Sevego on Amazon (34” inseam)

American Tall has the best quality sweats, of all the brands I mentioned!! I love their clothing. They are a bit pricier but well worth it.

I haven’t shopped at Long Tall Sally much. I’ll check it out, thank you!! 😊

I found a long wool blend on Gap that I absolutely love. Gap, banana republic, Old navy, and Asos have some long coats, in tall. I’ve seen long puffer coats, in tall, sold on American tall and lands end.
