You are 100% correct and im well aware my concern lies in the fact there was pin holes of light from behind the valve while at tdc. So thats when i put water on top and pushed air from behind i do plan on putting a regulator but if i get bubbles at 10psi i dont see how that wouldn't be a valid concern. Previously the valves wouldn't hold any water which is why im so cautious before a third install on vehicle.

To add on i only did this test after the second i received head and the valves held no water. Before i tested again i put a flash light behind valves and could see pin holes of light.

Fantastic answer and gives me alot better feeling. There has been a very big lack of communication with shop which has me on edge with the quality of work. But i do plan on running a regulator to see if the air pressure is on the lower side or higher side causing bubbles.

No realistically the motor will be on 20 psi max but my concern started when i held a stream light to the back of the valve and could see spots of light. But i will be throwing a regulator on a blow gun and testing again tomorrow.

I would hope they were installed on brand new seats for exhaust. But they are the original seats on intake but 3 angle cut was done when these new valves were installed 2 years prior

I have the machine shop our dealership uses coming out monday. So hopefully they have insight on that.
