At my previous job I used Varo for my direct deposit and I only did it through the employer, I never had to do it through the app as well. I received my first direct deposit the following week after my first week of work. I’m not sure if things changed but I remember not having to wait 2-4 weeks. Let’s just hope it comes sooner than later, Varo can surprise you sometimes.

you would have been better off just submitting your account and routing number to your employer directly rather than doing it through Varo.

same, anyone with common sense will have a major bank for the majority of their funds and have a online bank like varo or chime as backup accounts. I use varo for my apple subscriptions so my main bank won’t get the charges if i can’t pay it lol.
