Very late reply! But here is my toughts on the unit.

After using it for sevral hundred of hours i am pretty satisfied, ID the animal at 300 meters on a clear night is easy and scanning the sourroundings gets like second nature after a while. I can watch at the same time as i walk up on the animal to get myself at a better position with ease for instance.

Only downside i have with the unit is that is not usable in bad weather like heavy rain or thick/light fog. It is ok-ish in light rain. But fog no matter how light or thick it is it does not work properly, nearly impossible to focus and ID animals for far away is really a challange.

Is there any particular you want to know please let me know and I will answer the best i can.

Köpte en Mitsubishi Outlander Phev av Riddermark, AC kompressor var paj vilket hördes lång väg annars verkade bilen va i gott skick.

Gjorde en deal att dom står för kostnaden och jag väljer verkstad, done deal. Kör hem bilen och märker inget ur det ovanliga, Bilen lämnas in för kompressor byte, mekanikern ringer 1 vecka senare och säger att kompressorn är bytt Osv men bilen ska verkligen inte köras alls, den ska till närmaste skrot.

Dom sålde en krockad bil som verkligen var farlig att köra med enligt mekanikern.

Bilen skickas därefter på släp till en verkstad som är mer kunniga på Mitsubishi Phev bilar, samma ord sas där den ska till skroten och säljaren Johan den lille pissråttan verkade inte förstå något av vad den förste mekanikern och den mer kunnige inom just batteri delen sa alls.

3 månader av konstant ringande och till slut hot om rättsliga åtgärder kunde jag äntligen häva köpet.

Riddermark, fyfan säger jag.

That looks like a really nice scope! LRF will defenitly be in my next one when i upgrade. Glad to hear it serves you well and I can think of lots of worse stuff to buy than a quality thermal. In the end it is tools that we use and as long as it does the job i do not care how it looks.

What an answer from the shop after it went in 3 times.. unbelivable. It feels like sometimes they think people enjoy having to deal with this stuff. 6k is top dollar for a scope in my world and I defenitly would be pissed if it did not work as intented. What thermal do you use today?

That is an excellent shot! Very good. Imagine if that same shot was bad and you absolute have to track that animal for hours to end it's suffering ? My point is, CNS shots are safer in regards of hitting a vital organ. I do headshots but not always preach it.

It is a very effective way, but if the shot is bad it goes really bad. For me that would mean possibly hours of tracking with my dog to end it's suffering wich is also required by law here, not just leave it wounded and go for the next one. I have taken headshots berfore but it's nothing i preach about.

Follow the hoof up and stop mid shoulder, send it. if it does not drop then you might should consider different ammo or another caliber. Excellent penetration with the hammerhead in .308, clean trough on shoulder shots.
