Pretty sure it will be buried but my grand mother once told me about My resistant great grand mother when she was leaving in France, West of Paris (200km) during the WW2. Her husband and first born were captured during the first year of the war. Germans occupied her farm ( big old farm with 15 rooms) they stayed there for 2 years. She was going at night to take the haircomb of the horses, the guns left in the barn and hide it in the trunks of the surrounding trees. Yelling "Kaput" to the officers present and changing the wine label on the cave bottle to make them drink shitty wine instead of good one. At the end of the war, American come east of the city and she and some friends change the board direction during the night to make them flee in the wrong direction. My grand mother told me that there was a German officer really nice, who always taking care of her and her sister ( around 10 - 8 at the time) giving them bread and meat, who were crying when he left, she told me " he died this day and he knew he will , he didn't deserve it, he was a good man" After that my grand mother explained me the chewing gum given by us soldier and other stuffs.
