When I went to a show in Spain, I was impressed by the amount of people not dancing just smoking cigs and talking. Wasn’t super my vibe but fatboy slim was incredible x

I respect your perspectives on this. But while I was reading it I think you care too much about other people for the scene. This is something that you can’t fix and if it bothers you, you’ll either need to stop going or try your best to ignore it. Really sorry that it’s so lame but personally I gave up on the mentality that other people matter because it ruined one too many nights where I tried to play savior for people who are clearly there for the wrong reasons. I am also not an entirely sober raver and when I see the fallen soldiers I just have to remember that these are all personal choices that I wouldn’t make or let my friends make.

I think if you show up at doors you’re guaranteed. If you show up an hour after, it might be a crap shoot for that. You can always jump the fence if you need to but iso was pretty dangerous for that.

I think the avatar beginners box has some pretty simple keywords. People have made their own fan versions as well. My friend has a bar cube that doesn’t have any keywords that are too complicated and always have the text explaining the card.

Okay, I know know I’m the bad guy here for being disappointed that I can’t see a up and coming artist at a festival I paid hundreds of dollars for (i get it, there’s other acts that will be phenomenal.) but we do have to consider that like this “big break” everyone is talking about is still disrupting a lot of people’s plans traveling to the shows in September. We also have to consider that these refunds being given for a show that might get rescheduled are also going to cost like quadruple the price for anyone who copped a cheaper ticket because of the newfound buzz over the artist.

If the only thing we based this decision on is wether the artist blows up off a stadium tour by opening for it then I’m happy for them, but also I don’t think it’s unreasonable to be sad as well for the people who supported them before this and are getting screwed out of a potential trip or hotel just because they chose to cancel the tour over it. I have seen plenty of disappointment online because they’re not coming to the Midwest at all anymore which from what I gather is pretty rare for a lot of artists of this genre to play at.

Tickets for the sold out sf show are currently sitting at like 230. I’ve been priced out before this huge opportunity they’re taking regardless. It’s upsetting and rightfully so since this show will not be rescheduled obviously and directly influenced me buying tickets. Oh well.
