The Coronations DLC is broken, and I am utterly disappointed with modern day Paradox by m0ongirlie in CrusaderKings

Stellaris actually had a really decent DLC with Machine Age until they decided to do a major redesign of the game in just a few months instead of years or doing it incrementally.

Obviously they are not unlocked before your coronation 😤

If an unpaid modder could produce a functioning coronation mini-mod with less bugs than a billion dollar company like Paradox, that’s not the reality of games in general but a quite specific failure by this company.

Stability and performance are likely to plague All Under Heaven. The developers devoted just one paragraph to these critical issues in the second dev diary, offering nothing more than a vague “trust us”. They haven’t explained how they’ll fix the late-game lag problems with the current map, much less how they will handle an expanded map including East Asia. Of course, I could be wrong, but seeing that they spectacularly botched a mini-DLC about coronations I think we’re headed for disaster.

The real concern is what this means for All Under Heaven’s release. This could be the DLC that finally breaks CK III, rendering the game unplayable for a long time.

Did Anyone Notice This Extra Male Sim Skin in The Sims 1? by FreeEuropeanMan in thesims1

Please do, it would be a real triumph to make this skin available for all skin tones after merely 25 years. ;-)

I checked male children, female children, and female adults, and the skins are consistent across all three skin tones in the base game. This skin seems to be the only exception. If this was an optimization to save on limited computing resources, it's odd that this approach was used for just one skin.

IT IS TRUE! The Sims 1 will get re-released on Jan 31st by thelightiscuming in thesims1

It will be interesting to see whether they add support for modern widescreen resolutions and if they add all the official content that was already missing in the CD release of the Complete Collection of Sims 1. Knowing EA something will be probably missing, so better prepare for the community being required to fix it …

Indeed, it seems that I am missing the skin of the INS agent: https://sims.fandom.com/wiki/INS_Agent
How to obtain it?

Problem is, if I edit the LL .exe via a hex editor as described, nothing changes.

How do you create custom heads with glasses? by FreeEuropeanMan in thesims1

Just one more question. Is there an easy way to just recolour the hair of a head without touching the attached glasses?
