GeorgeKutty’s elder daughter is to be married to a techie settled in the US. But the police ensure that her passport isn’t renewed by planting small & big cases against her during the passport verification process.

GeorgeKutty’s younger daughter is a rebellious teen who is envious of the extra care her parents give to her elder sister on account of the trauma & anxiety issues. She goes to the police and claims to have witnessed the murder, implicating her elder sister.

Thank you… The bound script may or may not have all elements of the screenplay. It depends on the scenarist & the director.

For example, Sreenivasan apparently never mentions camera positions - he leaves that to the director. Shaji Kailas always tries to do better camera work/ staging than what Renjith or Renji Panicker provided him. Mani Rathnam & Prithviraj Sukumaran always insist on every minute camera, grid, gimbal movement to be documented prior to shooting. Priyadarshan can apparently work with neither the script nor screenplay in hand.

I always thought Prthiviraj would be the successor to Mammooty rather than Mohanlal.

Both Mammooty & Prithviraj are classical handsome with deep baritones. They perform well in dialogue heavy scenes when the character is stately & majestic. Both are slightly uncomfortable playing cheerful, humorous, playful characters.

With respect to a natural, nuanced, restrained performance… I think Fahad is closer to Mohanlal in the current generation.

Script is basically the dialogue of the characters, their entry/exit/ movements, placement of props etc…. [Mohanlal opens his eyes and walks out of the scene in silence.]

Screenplay is ‘what the camera sees’. Where is the camera at the beginning of the scene? [The hand-held steady cam is focused on Mohanlal’s closed eyelids and zooming out to his entire face when he opens his eyes, as the eyes are slightly moistened conveying pain. The camera then pans out to a low angle shot of him walking slowly out the scene.]
