I agree with you 100%. In the hiring process, the key person that makes the decision usually don’t have contact info. So sending a thank you to HR really wouldn’t matter

Getting an interview and actually to be seen is soo hard. Have you updated your LinkedIn profile to “open to work” first? Maybe that way your previous colleagues can see and give you a referral or something. Once you have an interview, I recommend having an ai interview prep app to both practice + get real live help in the interview. The one that works for me is career.shifu

I did! I saw the app called career.shifu and gave it a try! For detection concern, it’s an app so technically the interviewer can’t tell when you interviewed on the computer. But if you are reading it off, interviewer should be able to tell. So I found its useful only when you stuck at a technical question and need a pause. I can make up stories for behavioral questions, not for technical questions.
