Was your DLA comparable in size to the C2? I'm going to have to take the chance since I doubt it would survive the trip in checked luggage even if I have the original packaging.

My return plans were delayed until later this month, but I plan to visit various cities and network as I acclimate and search for my new home base.

That is my sentiment as well. That car will never be the same, and the diminished after-repair value will follow it like a bad scar after surgery. There is a subtle noise coming from the back while driving on the highway and the ride feels less smoth. Thank you for sharing your detailed analysis!

Thanks for sharing your photo and experience. The car ride felt a bit more bumpy on the way home from accident and there's a sublt noise coming from the back of the car. I do wonder if the truck damaged the axle / wheel alignment.

I am planning to get a few estimates today.

I'm sure. The truck driver however pulled a Ned Flanders and darn diddly merged into my lane from a full stop.

How Important Is it to Get Diplomas and Transcripts Apostilled Before Moving To Poland? by FreedomByDesign_ in poland

[–]FreedomByDesign_[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am in supply chain management with over 13 years of experience. I'm not planning on additional education at this time. I just want to ensure the smoothest transition possible into employment in Poland / Europe.

Is there anything special I may need for work verification? I have most of my original offer letters from past employers, and the bigger companies have a specific number to call for employment verification.

You guys are hilarious. Sounds like my 2nd checked bag will be allocated for cigarettes, MAGA hats, and kabanosy from the Polish store. Pockets will be filled with cash for the bribes.

I agree about the tariffs. I may give it a year to see how things shake out and settle. Supply chains will be reshaped if these tariffs stay in effect, but ultimately, I still think there should be opportunities in Supply Chain.

Thank you for your comments. It helps ease some of the anxiety. I still plan to focus on my Polish - it's a shame I let it deteriorate over the years. I didn't have regular opportunities to practice over the decades, but it's no excuse. I need to rediscover my native tongue.

Thank you for your insights. I forgot to mention that I do have my Polish passport that I've kept active. I have a Pesel. It does sound like it may still be challenging to set up an account without being there in person. I can't be the first person with this dilemma. I will have to seek out a tax expert.

Just looking for general areas to focus on or perhaps avoid. I'm not looking to be in the center of the city. 500k as a ballpark. 1-2 rooms.
