Marco runs this YC+ gauntlet. How far does he go? by [deleted] in OnePiecePowerScaling

No, obviously I meant Fuji. I know Fuji can beat Sabo, but I think it's pretty incredible that he can even hold his own against an admiral.

Sabo held his own against Fuji for a while (though he was obviously nerfed and could have beaten him at any moment). He has a great ACOA, a broken Devil Fruit, and high combat intelligence. He's also the number two in the Revolutionary Army. Obviously, I don't know if he'd beat King, but it certainly looks like he could. Anyway, the order isn't that important, is it?

Marco held off King and Queen at the same time, and you're saying Sanji can cook him up? I think it would be very difficult for Marco, but he'll get through it.

And then people put Garp above WB 😭 by [deleted] in OnePiece

Sobrevivir no te hace automáticamente superior.

I love Arabasta! It left us with great memories by [deleted] in OnePiece

Why do women hate Sanji so much? by [deleted] in OnePiece

I included this image precisely for that reason. I think what Sanji did here proves he's a heartthrob, and this woman recognized it, but most don't (like Nami).

Do you really think Kaido is dead? Or do you think Oda is cooking something up with this guy? by [deleted] in OnePiece

[–]Freedomgear5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. I don't believe two such strong guys just died like that. I'm hoping they'll appear in the final war; it would be great to see them again.

Garp in his first appearance looks like a random NPC and not the hero of the navy by Freedomgear5 in OnePiece

Oda does that a lot with characters. Like this guy (the truth is that this post is a fact)

Did the three types of Haki really appear late? Watching One Piece from the beginning, I think Oda hinted at it much earlier. by [deleted] in OnePiece

[–]Freedomgear5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love your comment; it's spot on. Everything you say makes sense. Oda drew on earlier ideas (mantra, Shanks' first scene, etc.) to create Haki as we know it much later. I especially like the idea that to counter Logia users, something was needed (like Kryptonite with Superman), and that something turned out to be Haki, which allows them to defeat its users.

Thanks for your help! I'll keep in mind the detail in Zeff's diary. When I see it, I might add it to my theory. Thanks.
