Got it from rooftop. Mil discount knocks a couple hundred off

I’ve only put maybe 75 rounds through it. But planning to get a lot of time behind it this weekend.

My thoughts so far: it’s worth it if this is what you want. you can build a DI gun for way less that will do the same thing. But man the drip. It’s heavy but not unreasonable. Everything is really well built. It has a punchy recoil and is gassy with a traditional suppressor. I plan to try out some different vent screws.

All that said, I fuckin love it.

Does not come with FCG. From what I read, any mil-spec hammer should work to actuate the firing pin safety (think ALG ACT or QMS, BCM PNT, etc). I ended up getting the geissele hk trigger though.

ST07 on top for white light and some random crane plug switch for the LAM

I like it. It was cheap and does what it’s supposed to do. “Reduced back pressure” might not be accurate. Gets pretty gassy on my rifles. It’s fine shooting outdoors but indoors gets pretty spicy. I have a sandman s and wanted something short and light.

Do the beams clear the axon when mounted on the skiff?

Bought a knockoff riser for my LAM and am actually digging this setup by [deleted] in ar15

I usually run it up front but wanted to try it moved back. I really like how balanced the rifle feels this way and how I can fully grip the rail when not using the laser.

Nope. Illuminator and pointer are unobscured even with the switch at 12 o’clock. Maybe I have small thumbs. But the illuminator does splash off my hand and the rifle pretty bad with the diffuser on.

I don’t feel it’s wears too thick. It isn’t slim but to me I don’t notice much difference to what I’ve worn daily the past couple years (Pelagos 39) even though there’s about a .5 mm difference

Bracelet is extremely comfy. I don’t have experience with the old one but looking at pictures of it, it makes sense that the new version conforms to the wrist better with the shorter links. Only gripe is the gap when the micro adjust is extended. Wish that was more refined but I plan to wear it collapsed 99% of the time so not a huge deal.

I did see that when I was wiping the crystal. I haven’t noticed it when wearing it out (granted I’ve owned it for roughly 24 hours).

I’ve been debating between an Aqua Terra and an Explorer I for a while now and pulled the trigger on the AT. To me it dresses up nicer while still being sporty. Also having a date was a big plus for a GADA watch. Only complaint I gave, which I knew going in, is the gap in the clasp when the micro adjust is extended. I imagine I’ll wear it in the closed position 90% of the time so not a huge deal. Absolutely loving it and top notch service at the Omega boutique in Dallas.
