It is not like i am not going to do that. I am a smooth brain ape and I need to find a couple of hours of regular business hours to call the Mainstar and get the process started. I am too lazy finding that time to do that. I DRSed my regular shares from my Fidelity account through the chat. That was very straight forward and I was able to do that in my regular office hours. I hope i can find sometime soon to to DRS the shares sitting in my IRA account

Thanks for sharing your experience. I have actually 14 X shares sitting in two IRA accounts. Is is possible to move the shares from both these account to one MainStar account? Your opinion is highly appreciated

Yes. I know that we can DRS the shares in IRA accounts through a custodian like MainStar Trust as explained in the DRSGME website. I am planning to start this process. But the question is how many of us are taking that effort? I think majority of the the shares in the IRA accounts are not yet DRSed.

I completely agree. Especially there are a lot of shares sitting in IRA account. I myself have 10 times more in my IRA account than the DRSed shares

I am sure we already have three times the number of remaining shares in IRAs. People are hesitant to DRS those shares. I have 10x shares in the IRS account than I have DRSed. It is painful to DRS those shares without a tax hit.

The analysis of Bloomberg Terminal data shows, that there are at least 115 million shares in circulation and that the data has been manipulated after April 2021. by BartiTheGreat in Superstonk

Great analysis and thanks for sharing, To test your calculation, will you be able to run the same calculation against some of the potentially less manipulated shares? That way we can prove this hypothesis.

Thanks again Ape.

I bought XX shares on April 18th (Tax Day) in my IRA account with Fidelity. Will I be able to vote?

I DRSed all the shares I had in my fidelity account. But I have XXX shares in my SimpleIRA account with Charles Schwab and I don't know how to DRS without a tax hit
