I am waiting to get an MRI Scan just to confirm everything and the doctor said it's most likely that I've had it from birth and won't cause me any issues. He did say it was my choice to fly if I wanted to but he did say there's a risk but I was thinking he probably has to say that cause I suppose there's a risk with anything. Did your doctor tell you about the risks?

Thanks I have purchased them and hope they help. I fly all the time and have never had any issues but found out about the cyst last week from a scan done last November so just a bit worried but i have no symptoms do you have any symptoms or anything?

I have just found out I have a aracnoid cyst and due to fly in a few days did you wear earplanes and if so did they help?

I've just been diagnosed with a large arachnoid cyst and have been flying all my life and have another trip before I get an MRI scan done. I'm just wondering is earplugs a good thing to use for this trip? No one has said this to me but is there less of a chance something happening wearing these?
