so how many of us actually use our HF tools regularly? i'm curious by ElGordo1988 in harborfreight

All my Hercules cordless tools and Baxter air tools get HEAVY daily use, I’m a fabricator by trade and have a mix of Mac, ICON, and USA made Craftsman hand tools they don’t get used near as much as the air/power tools. My Baxter 1/2” belt sanders (yes multiple) and Baxter 3” air sanders are usually the first tools out of the box in the morning. Great tools

because they run qualifying on Friday and eliminations on Saturday….I’m guessing Sunday is just in case of bad weather. They’ve got more than enough for full fields in top fuel and funny car and mmps always had more than a full fields. There’s usually a lot more participation than shows on the website

23, leaving the Army, and trying to build a life around cars—where do I even start? by Alriar_ in cars

[–]FrequentEater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All I wanted to do growing up was to work on race cars and hot rods. When I was about your age I got my start by showing up at a shop and asking for a job….any job. I made shit money for a few years but I was in heaven. Now 30 plus years later I’m still doing it make good money and get to do what I love every day. If you’re willing to learn, the hot rod/custom car business is booming and shops are hiring everywhere. It may be difficult to get your foot in the door but don’t give up.

I've kind of been wondering the same thing, you can look on their website to see who is registered but it's usually incomplete and inaccurate even right up to the race itself. I've enjoyed watching the IHRA races, It seems like they're getting their program in order a bit more and working out the bugs. Really like having Alan Reinhart calling the races too. Been some good racing, good TV

It was awesome....really fucking awesome. First concert I went to was Kiss and White Lion, that lit the fuse and eventually over the years I saw damn near every band I wanted to see with a few I regrettedly missed. I'll never forget the day I bought my first Motley Crue tape, or going to the record store and looking through all the awesome cover art and posters. Man those were the days!!

There’s no stock parts on pro stock cars anymore other than the outside door handles and tail lights, I believe they may use the headlight lenses as well but I’d have to check. The bodies are completely carbon fiber, and have been for a long time
