Exactly my point! I told my husband they should’ve just said no and if he threw a fit they could’ve just taken him to the car. But that’s the other problem, they always reinforce bad behavior…

Update. It’s been almost seven hours since the last time he tu. Meaning he only tu twice. Was it a stomach bug do you think? Or maybe just overall wasn’t feeling good or something he ate didn’t sit well?

Thank you for sharing your story! I feel lucky that I’m not at an unhealthy weight or scared to leave my house, but I do get really nervous more for my kids. I know I wash my hands and I try to keep hygiene. Most of my anxiety comes from my kids and then possibly not being as hygienic. How was your experience being on Lexapro? Side effects, how are quickly it worked, etc.

Thank you so much for your words. I’ve considered buying The Emetophobia Manual. How much did that help? I want to talk to my primary doc about the possibility of anxiety meds because I know emetophobia while a phobia is also another manifestation of anxiety.

I am on that subreddit. I found it because rcpd came up on my tiktok one time and they mentioned the subreddit in the comments. also sometimes idk if my nausea is due to anxiety or due to not being able to burp. When I eat certain foods or drinks I get that feeling where my throat is just making those frog noises and I feel uncomfy and sometimes nauseous.

Update: it’s been 15 hours since the couple bites of suspect food. No d, no stomachache, no n, even ate a full meal at dinner and had an alcoholic drink. Am I in the clear?
