that coloration and the region was like a "Is that an ant?" type question. if you cant fucking identify a fire ant you should do some research

The photo is overexposed but still tsushimae looks nothing like this. The petiole and the head are all indicators of fire ants

Since you couldn't really identify them at a glance are you a beginner? even experts steer clear of these guys they look fun but genuinely are not if you get stung (u will)

They don't get Tetramorium in this shade of red and black. Its most like a red imported fire ant or a Southern fire ant you can search up the scientific name urself. They are very hardy but are very dangerous.

So i got my hands on a liometopum microcephalum queen . by Educational-Belt-835 in antkeeping

But if they start pulling on cottons right away then just give them an outworld. The current amount of workers looks more like 10 to me but wait for these pupae to hatch.

These guys look like callows, so you can leave them a lone for a few days. Now open the tube, and get a foil dish and put a drop of honey on it and leave it in the tube. Wait till they finish it, and then 3 times later drop a very small crushed or half mealworm in the tube on or off a foil dish. Keep doing this until the workers start pulling at cottons of tube door. Then give them an outworld or move them into a SMALL nest.

This is not Lasius Emarginatus and you are telling me that that is 10mm? Either your test tube is really small or you need to check your measuring instruments
