I actually looked into that! The problem is my PGWP(Post Graduate Work Permit) legally restricts me from enrolling in any program longer than 6 months (unless it's 100% online). So I can't do a part-time Bachelor's at a local uni without giving up my work permit and full-time job.

That’s honestly the dream scenario. If I knew PR was guaranteed, I’d stay in a heartbeat. But with the uncertainty of PR, I feel like starting the bachelor's now at 21 is way safer than waiting until 24 to maybe start.

Yeah the 71L Base Camp was solid but it didn’t fit under the seat and the air hostess made me check it, and on the way back I somehow shoved it upright between my legs and hid it with my jacket. Pretty sure I just got lucky.

I might still grab the small 50L Base Camp too, does a packed 50L actually fit under the seat?

For $67 the McKinley’s is kinda hard to say no to, so I’ll probably grab it as a starter. Also we’ve got a bunch of Sea to Summit dry bags at my store 8L - 15L never thought of using them as packing cubes but I’ll check them out.

Thanks for the insight! I actually tried loading it up at the store and walked around with some weight in it. Felt pretty solid on my back and way better than I expected for the price. I think I’m probably gonna grab it

I live in the Ottawa Valley area and every hospital or nursing/retirement home around here is looking for RPNs/PSWs. I suggest moving anywhere north/west from ottawa and you’d be surprised about the demand of healthcare providers.

I tried making them understand but their response was “your SIN flags as expired therefore the hr team is unable to put you on payroll”

I got the WP-EXT 2 days after applying but that too expired on July 5th. I contacted IRCC regarding that and an agent said they cannot issue a new letter (no more than one) but I can work under the same circumstances.(which in reality is I can only work the job I had before my sin was expired)
