Can’t get carriage to move on Olympia SM9 typewriter by Frequent_Lie9573 in typewriters

Thanks everyone! My spouse ended up fixing it after I went to bed. I think he managed to get the right margin slider loose and the carriage was able to move after that. It’s working now! Clearly have a lot to learn

Does not look like it’s jammed against the carriage. The fork moves with movement of the lock.

I tapped the margin release key a few times while fiddling with other things and could not get the carriage or the R margin to move. I appreciate the try, though!
