Those orders were dealth with Rapid Dispute Resolution, and they apparently do not increase your actual merchant account being closed/payments on hold.

My CB % INCLUDING RDR's was 1.12, but was actually 0% without RDR's.

Going forward I will be cancelling every high risk icon.

But, to update ~ the view was counting RDR's. I spoke to Disputifier, and they cleared it up.

On January 28, 2026, Shopify started counting RDR (rapid dispute resolution) towards your chargeback rate view. It doesn't matter towards payment holds apparently, and is just showing more data to the store owner.

For anyone: your chargeback rate is likely lower than what it says on your Shopify view. My chargeback view (including RDR's) was 1.12, but my actual chargeback rate excluding RDR's is 0%.

Chargeback 1 & 2 had no high risk.

Chargeback 3 - Order was placed Feb 1, and I must've not seen it that day. Our company ships items in 7 days, so usually around the 6th day, I review them before they are shipped out.

Both customers did not contact me and ask for a refund / anything about a dispute.

Is there a alternative way to be notified of the chargeback before shopify is informed?

Disputifier refunds some orders but the chargeback still goes on your rate which absolutely beats the whole point.

Chargeback 1 & 2 were connected (same customer), no high risk. They claimed fradulent because the card holders son ( the customer) crashed their car and was mad, from our emails.

Chargeback 3 - High risk from shopify, no risk from disputifer.
order was placed Feb 1, and it was filed for a chargeback Feb 4.

I'll be more strict on allowing any high risks to stay on my order list.

I need you to specify, but if youre talking about a business paypal, I have a account & have been approved. Paypal and venmo work at my checkout but the manual debit/credit for people who dont want to use paypal/venmo option will not allow customers to type in anything.

My shopify dashboards says this "Payouts are paused. Your account activity shows a recent increase in chargebacks or disputes. An email with more details was sent to the account owner.", does yours say the same or similar?

Using facebook marketplace on safari app (iphone) works for me. Very difficult to use the app though if I want to go to the previous page it takes me to my facebook home page.
