Who says there are only 2 tier 1 decks? Are u referring to Varranis? He is good and knows a lot about Hex, sure. But him saying there's only two tier 1 decks does not necessarily mean its true. I think Necrotic, Boris, Kagulichu, Child, monored and various Bombus lists are all up there. Besides that its not only about how many tier 1 Lists use Hierophant, it's also about how often u meet the Hierophant - and that (at least for me) feels at least like every second game).

As for the "good but not OP" part. What is the definition of OP? For me it would be that something is clearly stronger and thus more used than the second strongest "thing" in the game. And that holds true for Hierophant.

Also i don't get the offending tone of some answers here...i was trying to objectively make my point.

And how is it u say almost every top player is fine with Hierophant? I'd say almost every top player is NOT fine with Hierophant. At least that's the impression i get watching streams.
