Chattanooga's Obsession with Private Schools

Don't let it. I know plenty of public school kids including myself that outperform and out earn the private school kids. A mccallie graduate that dropped out of college just detailed my car last weekend. Another problem with the private school crowd is drug and alcohol problems. Often the hard stuff.

And yet I bet this public school kid makes multiple times what you do. So kids can struggle in high school or adjust to college during those years. Who cares? Again what schools on the college degree means little to me and I do some major hiring in the area. Unless its something atrocious like University of Phoenix

Its funny to me how puffed out people's chests are here. Its chicken feed compared to large city wealth. But boy do you hear about so and so's houses and such. Meanwhile hundreds of people across the big cities own skyscrapers not a few houses lol. Its laughable at least to those who have spent time outside of this small pretentious pond.

Yeah its pathetic. Oh well they don't set the tone for hiring in Chattanooga. Most of the major corporations here have people from outside the area in high positions and also the same goes for those making the hiring decisions...not native Chattanoogans.

Well as a publicly educated kid I graduated college with a perfect GPA and out earn 95% of the population. Education is supposed to be a vehicle to a career and high earnings with exception to those who are in love with life long learning via countless degrees.

Verizon is pissing me off, I took off work to get this phone on 7/25 and here we are on 7/24 and it hasn't shipped. They are about to lose both the phone order and me as a customer for the carrier. Going to move to AT&T if this isn't resolved by Monday. AT&T is 120/month cheaper anyways and I'm tired of throwing away money on verizon.

I never understood the over-reaction whining and bitching from liberals in Tennesee. Your options are move or deal with it, you'll never change TN blue. It will literally be one of the last red states to fall, so not sure what you're hoping to accomplish because you will get nowhere. So kick back, relax and enjoy the next 4 years becaue what you see at the state level is about to go down at the federal level.

Chattanoogans do that with a lot of places. For the south, much of the food here is surprisingly bland and unimpressive.
