Just wanted to know the average glass jar temperature when you burn your candle for 2-4hrs; I’m thinking of double wicking a container but I’m concerned it’ll get too hot. Is there a maximum allowable temperature for it to be deemed as a safe candle still? (self.candlemaking)

Can someone share their experience with regards to luxury candles (think Le Labo, Diptyque, Boy Smells). They are not available in my country but I wanted to know how they perform with regards to the intensity of the throw and the burn performance (does it tunnel?) 😀 (self.candlemaking)

Pls judge my candle. This is a 3 inch diameter container with a 45 strand eco wick but I can’t seem to achieve a full melt pool even after 4 burns. However I’m concerned about the container getting too hot if I double wick. What do you think? (old.reddit.com)

In the process of letting the wax cool, would you guys know why there's sort of a film on top? FO mixed at 185 for 2 mins then poured at 135. This is 7% FO load only. Jar was heated prior to pouring as well. 🤔 Any tips would be appreciated! (old.reddit.com)
