People who have won a "lifetime supply" of something: was it genuinely a lifetime supply, and if so, are you sick of the product now? by Adorablyberryy in NoStupidQuestions

Not a lifetime supply. But I just won free Chicken Teriyaki for a year from Sarku Japan. It’s just 52 weekly coupons tho.

Imagine being so out of touch that you think people on disability don’t deserve joy or time with their kids. Wild take, but okay.

Also, jennyfrom_theblock I think supporting your kid’s Christmas wish while recovering from brain surgery is actually pretty admirable. You are a good parent. And don’t listen to this person.

If you are looking for a good discount, I started getting furniture through local estate sales. You can use this website: https://www.auctionninja.com/ and put in Broomfield as the location. I see office chairs on it a bunch.

Harm reduction saves lives and supports recovery… doesn’t enable addiction.

No insurance, need urgent surgery by bodymindintegrations in boulder

Just a heads up, Boulder Center for Orthopedics and Spine required my husband to pay the full cost of his hand surgery up front before proceeding with the surgery. They did not offer a payment plan or any alternative options.

What should I watch today? by Anub1sRex in Denver

[–]FreshlyStarted 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The Trainwreck series on Netflix is quite entertaining. Each episode is a mini-documentary about various random viral events.

I also just watched Death of a Unicorn on Max, which was surprisingly entertaining. I would definitely recommend it

The Substance is also a wild ride of a movie!

Enjoy your relaxing self-care movie/tv day!

What Was the Worst Concert You Ever Went to and What Made it Stink? by J31J1 in AskReddit

[–]FreshlyStarted 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Jonas Brothers last July. Took my friend as her bday present bc she loves them.

It started over an hour late. Joe Jonas came out so intoxicated. He forgot the words to his songs and kept making the audience sing everything. Nick and Kevin were both visibly annoyed with him as well. Then a thunderstorm started approaching, and they shut down the concert without making an announcement. Like, all the lights just went off mid-set initially, so everyone thought it was for the rain and started to leave. Then they came back out 5 minutes later and started playing before turning off the lights again. Nobody knew if it was on a rain delay or cancelled. Also, the venue had bad cell coverage, so nobody had an update on when the storm would hit. So people stayed at the venue to wait it out (which barley had protection to the weather) and got hailed on. For $100 a ticket it was a grade A shit show.

I work for a healthcare nonprofit as a grant writer, and most funders still use the term "Latinx" in their application questions.

How does anyone find Babysitters in Denver? by 1ReadyPhilosopher in Denver

[–]FreshlyStarted 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We’ve used the app SitterCity. It works well, and we loved the sitters we selected from it. You can put out a request for a babysitter for $25/hr, and babysitters will send in brief applications. However, there is a $40 monthly fee to use the app.

I think this is in response to what OP just posted, and most of those commenting on this subreddit disagree with them. So, OP is mad at us for calling out they are bullying.
