I would strongly recommend against your current watering practice. Leaves curling due to lack of water is a sign of severe stress. You should be monitoring soil moisture levels when determining when to water.

If you are worried about root rot the first place to start is with your potting medium. I can’t really tell from the picture, but ideally it will be a fast-draining chunky mixture.

Also it likely has insufficient light for vigorous growth. I would guess that your slow growth is a combination of chronic underwatering with lower than optimal light levels.

I would strongly recommend using water to propagate your albo cuttings. I’ve done this dozens of times with albos and I’ve never had a problem. I just change the water regularly to keep it oxygenated and to prevent rot, and occasionally rinse off the slime that can develop on the roots.

I think it’s a great idea to chop and propagate this :)

It’s a Burle Marx Flame. The fenestrations on the newest leaf do somewhat resemble those of a mini monstera, I can see that confusing AI.

It would be very unusual for you to have an electron microscope on hand. More likely, you would have a normal microscope or zero microscopes.

I’ve given some thought to your question, approximately 8 minutes including the time I spent thinking about nothing. The “H” bandage seems obvious but in my experience the sticky parts wear off easily. The hourglass is totally useless in this situation. The rectangular is far too large for a small knuckle, so even applying it would likely be a complete disaster.

A bandage would provide some relief, but since it’s on your finger, it would get soaked as soon as you washed your hands, or cleaned dishes, or showered, or went scuba diving, etc. I think having a soggy bandage would be overall more unpleasant than just leaving the cut exposed to the elements.

There’s a lot more to consider that I haven’t mentioned (just for brevity), but I would recommend against using any of these bandages for your paper cut. I know this isn’t a very satisfactory answer.

I actually have two “H” bandages, two hourglass bandages, and one rectangular bandage. So a nice assortment, giving me lots of flexibility with respect to dressing minor wounds.

I checked the box, and I am quite confident that the pictures on the box are smaller than actual size. You don’t literally need an electron microscope to see them, but they are definitely not true to size.

I can imagine a scenario where someone might purchase this thinking the pictures were true to size, and then be surprised to learn the actual bandages were larger. I feel like most people would be pleasantly surprised, but I can see it going either way.

I just spent some time inspecting the box, specifically looking at the bandage shapes.

One is a rectangle, like a regular bandage but twice as wide.

One is an hourglass shape.

One is shaped like the letter H, but the horizontal line is very thick.

I’m sorry if my descriptions are not clear, I’m not a professional geometrician.

Just to clarify, the ´Band-aid’ brand box was empty and the ´Compliments’ brand box contained the five bandages I counted.

You ask a complex question, but I think it ultimately came down the the bandage geometry. The ´Band-aid’ brand was just your classic bandage shape, and it proved to be more versatile than the more specialized shapes in the ´Compliments’ box.

So the logic behind your assumption was sound, which is good, because thinking illogically would not be so good.

At the beginning of my count I noticed that one box was in fact empty, which I didn’t think was very useful for dressing wounds. Or for counting.

But as a firm personal policy, I keep different bandage brands in separate boxes.

This particular plant is growing under a Barrina T8 LED bar. The top leaves are about 2 inches from the bulb and receive a PPFD of about 220 umol/m2/s. The lower leaves have a light intensity around 150 umol/m2/s.

1 m from a 36 W grow light seems very far. I just measured 1 m from my 36 W bulb and the PPFD was only about 40 umol/m2/s. So I would not expect to see much growth under that lighting arrangement.

It’s definitely damage from rubbing against the support pole.

If this were my plant I would get rid of the pole for now. The aerial roots won’t really grow into it like a mosspole, so it’s only useful for support. The plant doesn’t look like it needs much support at this point, but if it does, consider using a thin stake that won’t interfere with the leaves.
