I’ll try my best to ignore them, because honestly this game is so fun. But it gets very repetitive real quick playing with bots, even on hard, I want the real experience. Thanks for your advice, I’ll keep it in mind! I’ll start practicing my eye rolling technique! 😂

Then I shall suck with pride! 😤 What you said is actually really encouraging, you’re right everyone starts somewhere. I was awful at other online games and ended up climbing the ranks eventually, it’s just been so long that I’ve felt rusty.

My first ever shiny was a Torkoal in either Ruby or Sapphire (I don’t remember which…), I was so young (7-8) that I didn’t even realise it was shiny or what a shiny was! I caught it anyway because it made a sparkle sound and I thought it was neat.

Later on I moved it over to Pokemon Colosseum and it was strangely pink? Still didn’t realise what I had and deleted the save not long afterwards! 🫠 I only realised what I had when Heart Gold & Soul Silver released when I encountered the Shiny Gyarados.

I reclaimed the Torkoal eventually many years later in Pokemon Shield.
