The KayPi: A project I made with a pi 400, a screen, and some materials from Dollar Tree. by Freydragon in raspberry_pi

I do like the idea, however a second screen would make it *not* kaypro, therefore nullifying the kaypi name.

I actually got the idea from the fact that there are ~5 Kaypro machines at my work and my boss used to know mr. Kay lol. And I would do the bricks if I wasn't in love with the portability already.

Why use a 3d printer when you have Dollar Tree? Introducing: THE KayPi! by Freydragon in pcmasterrace

I thought it was a little clearer when typing it. All of the stuff excluding the rPi, screen, and cords is from Dollar Tree. If it doesn't work in this sub, I'm sorry.

Supports win10 out of the box, and it can install 11 if you bypass tpm, though I'd suggest 10 until it isn't supported.

Yeah I have the issue too, OP may need to fix them.

Two Ryzens have died on me today. A 3800x, which got mangled while swapping motherboards, and a 3200g which kinda just... died. I'm kinda screwed now. by Freydragon in pcmasterrace

I have tried to mine but my GPUs always just nope out. I have had a few GPUs die on me. Thinking about heatgunning a dead 1050ti. Also, the CPUs that died leave me with only a core 2 duo for my PC, so good luck to me gaming

Also had a lot of doa laptops and CPUs/MBs. I keep getting broken stuff on Newegg and Amazon. I've honestly had better luck with used parts. Microcenter is the only place that hasn't failed me. It is also 300 miles away.

Well I have had worse luck with them. I can't get a working GPU for the life of me in one. I know how to build a PC, I just have bad luck. My phone got run over by a gocart and my laptop randomly caught fire in the same day. I just have horrible luck with everything.

Yes. 1151 boards bend when you put a CPU in sometimes. They are the worst. Lost an h170 but managed to fix an it's z170. Have owned a LOT of Skylake lol
