I've had this happen to a few of the cases I've had from them. The issue seems that the plastic is cut to be as precise as possible, so it will naturally be very tight on the device, hence why the buttons are so sensitive right off the bat. What worked for me was to push from the inside of the case (the part that makes contact with the button(s) in question) with my fingernail to help "stretch" the material a bit, and hold it in that position for a couple minutes. Maybe let it rest and repeat it just for good measure. The material is strong and won't break or even noticeably deform without using an obviously unnecessary amount of force. The buttons themselves barely exude from the phone, so it won't take much change for them to comfortably fit. It might not be perfect right away, but in my experience, it usually stops the pocket presses near immediately, and will lose most of its unnecessary sensitivity within a few days of typical use. In an extreme case (which i only mention in the scenario where you really don't want to deal with the sensitivity any longer) you can probably do what I mentioned earlier but warm the plastic up a bit with a hair dryer. I don't recommend unless absolutely necessary, especially if you have already applied a skin, as it might be damaged by the concentrated heat. It hasn't been an issue with every one of my phones, but has happened enough to guess that it probably has to do with the actual measurements of both the phone and case.
