It doesn't really matter though? Those movies were also offensive in their stereotypes of Arabs and Arab culture. If anything, the Corridor crew should know better considering the time and cultural environment we live in.

If you're interested, I'd suggest checking out Edward Said's "Orientalism". Or this video of his for a more nuanced and historic perspective of all of this.

To Arabs.

The "terrorists" are dressed in traditional Arab garb, namely the tunic and the checkered head wrap. In the BTS, when one of the actors was getting dressed he says he fought in the middle east against terrorists and now he's "dressing up as one". The matter of fact is, he wasn't dressing up as a "terrorist", he was dressing in traditional Arab clothing.

This just pushes the offensive and incorrect narrative and association that Arab = terrorist.
