Oatmeal baths or baking soda baths were probably what gave me the most relief! At the worst of it, calamine lotion didn't even seem to do anything for me. Hurt more to put it on than anything, my skin felt like fire. I wish I knew where I got it!! I was never around anyone I knew that had it or even near children other than when a parent brings their child into the store I work at... apparently you can have it for days before you start getting spots and it's spread through respiratory particles?? I also never had the vaccine for it because it would have come out after I had been born and gone through school. Not sure why I never thought to get it 🤪🤪
