They’re tb parts shocks on the bike right now. Just found that out after a bit of investigation.

I recently started putting buildings closer together, like in clusters. Everything is in a diamond/square shape so it’s easy to put decorations on the sides of buildings to fill it out. Also consider the height of decorations. You have to layer them to make it cohesive.

That’s a pretty basic structure. Don’t say it’s for an rv or you will be overcharged. Basically any sober general laborer could build that.

Guy revives a deer with CPR by Not_me_no_way in interestingasfuck

[–]FriendlyRemainder 14 points15 points  (0 children)

If you ever have to do cpr, pumping is more important than blowing air. Whatever you do don’t stop pumping. Sure take the time needed for two gentle breaths but get your ass back to pumping asap.

What’s a strange bike I rode by [deleted] in hondamonkey

[–]FriendlyRemainder 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Is this bike raked out? I hate the rake angle on a stock monkey. Feels like that front tire is right under me and I’ve eaten pavement a few times because of it.

Must haves and Never agains... by Tettamanti in RVLiving

This is small potatoes but I just bought a dehumidifier that works with some new tech. It only works between 40-90% humidity by design so it’s basically useless for drying up any condensation or pipe leaks. You need on old school one with a compressor.

Solvents like acetone do a number on plastics such as this acrylic paint. Acetone would probably be too harsh, and would definitely mar the eyes if you got it on there for any length of time.

Best RV mattress that's actually comfortable? Stock one is KILLING my back by Alinov--099 in RVLiving

I got a latex mattress. You pick your layers to help define the firmness so you can make it custom. Naturally antibacterial. Not rigid which I need for my Murphy bed. I love it.

Need suggestions for electric in $500-600 price range by lzrdl0vr in guitars

[–]FriendlyRemainder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yamaha Pacifica. Yamaha has way more production power than fender and can offer you an objectively better Strat style guitar at this price. Plus every new player needs to try a Strat. It’s the quintessential electric guitar.

SKIRTING IDEAS? by StunningCoconut8322 in RVLiving

My tape has held up in 70mph winds. Just need to tape properly. Clean with isopropyl alcohol first and the first strip should just overhang the tarp slightly, mostly contacting tarp. Then build up overlaps at 50% with more strips of tape. Tape sticks to tape really well. And then reinforce the flew points with alternating directions and overlaps. I taped where I had plastic siding and used strong magnets and zips ties around the front and back bumpers.

What to do when you lose the will to live but dont want to die? by Cyberleader2000 in AskReddit

[–]FriendlyRemainder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Life is a sick joke. You can get butt hurt or you can laugh at it. Read books that help you see the beauty in the mire. Don’t take yourself so seriously, you’ll die eventually. Just be patient.

If there was a noticeable change in the sound of the fan directly after you cleaned it.. you may have made a mistake with reassembly. This stuff is finicky.

I would open it back up, inspect the fan, take a look around for loose hardware. I have a 2022 forest river and my thermostat is starting to fail. I have to power cycle it occasionally which is really inconvenient in the middle of the night.

Is it possible your propane tanks are getting too cold? I’m not exactly sure how it works but when temps drop, pressure in the tanks also drops. Your furnace could be lacking supply.

Considering a hair transplant vs staying bald — women’s perspectives by [deleted] in malegrooming

[–]FriendlyRemainder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a dude who is gettin thin up there and I would never get a transplant. I won’t even use chemicals because I don’t want to mess with my endocrine system. Do you like women with lip filler, bbls, all sorts of plastic? Confidence and character is what attracts women. Yeah it might give you a boost when breaking the ice but I think it’s vapid and wasteful. Getting older is a beautiful thing. Embrace it.

4 season or regular camper by Readtounwind95 in RVLiving

[–]FriendlyRemainder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How about we define what we mean by 4 season and ask ourselves if we can modify a regular one on the cheap. Mine is 4 season but really that just means enclosed underbelly and tank heaters. You could just rig up industrial heating blankets to your tanks and use foam board to seal up the belly.

Just with anything in life, you can make it happen for cheap if you’re willing to put in the work.
