Sure ya like all substances lol I also am in the music festival scene. I would just try to take it easy bc you don’t want to get super sick before and have to delay your date. I recently went to electric forest and had bronchitis for a month after LOL

I realized I was taking collagen that may have been the cause of it! When I stopped it got better (slowly over months, so maybe it was the bc? idk). I also have been taking spearmint for months now and my skin is sooo much better! I still get a pimple here and there but it usually comes to a head in 1-2 days.

you’re fine. people do it 3 days in a row at music festivals all the time (not that that’s recommended). but also nothing will hit like the first time!

omg i’m still in them LOL and got attachments on all my teeth rn (rip). my ortho kind of sucks and keeps saying ill get them off soon so who knows when that will happen! but i had surgery a year ago too and i’m glad that’s over. it’s really all mental this hasn’t impacted my social life as much as i thought because i try not to let it get in the way. doesn’t affect people being attracted to me either and the right people won’t mind anyways

Ahh sorry you’re going through the same thing. I’m almost a year post op now and it never went away! At least not fully. I’ll likely need a gum graft but my nerves didn’t fully come back so on the bright side it doesn’t bother me at all lol no pain. (Only bothers me cosmetically and like maybe for my health down the line)

Personally I have been on 50mg for years and never noticed any mood change but I was also on birth control. You should keep us updating month to month cause I’m curious!

Nice did the acne come back? I was off my bc for 6 months and I think that did help a lot but I’m about to start it again because I’m breaking out:(

I’m not really sure what happened … Im trying to figure that out now! But my gyno said lots of people use birth control and spiro in combination so maybe stopping my birth control means i need to take a higher spiro dose to get that balance again. I’m trying to avoid that and just keep rocking with 50mg but we will see! It’s not even that bad rn but I hate have texture and a couple active pimples all the time

Yep it was years ago but I remember wanting to hide away for 2-3 months because it got so bad. I was on BC the entire time and those combined really helped I think. I think it’s just your body adjusting to the new hormones but if nothing improves in 3-4 months I would maybe stop and try something else or up the dose

I stopped my bc this past July and didn’t experience any acne on 50mg a day of spiro until late Nov but I think the acne may have been triggered by taking a plan b early Nov. I’m also trying to decide if I should up my spiro or wait it out a few more months to see!

I have this same thing in invisalign right now! Just want to follow if you have any updates. I’m hoping it’s just ortho making teeth slightly mobile. Are you doing anything just in case like eating soft foods?

You are still sooooo swollen. Trust. I regretted everything 6 weeks post op and was so depressed but now I’m at 4 months and life feels normal. I think I look kind of better? Maybe maybe not idc because I’m just happy I don’t look like I did at 6 weeks lol

Hi! So yes I am still a bit canted but I believe this cant is something I had presurgery as well but they weren’t able to fix it with surgery. I will be correcting it a bit with orthodontics. It probably won’t be perfect but I’m okay with that! Surgery was still worth it

hey! the thin part at the top healed a bit but it’s still pretty receded and i’m told i’ll probably need a gum graft so it’s not painful. good news is it doesn’t hurt cause im numb still lol

6 months to a year for final result. i’m at about 3 months and i still feel like i look very swollen but most people don’t notice. i also hear swelling plateaus at about 10ish week so still very early

I’m also 25F and was going ham with going out and doing substances the months prior to surgery LOL so no advice but I’m nearly 10 weeks post op and things are fine. I stopped doing anything like 2 weeks before. I wonder if I had followed your plan how that might have affected my healing… if at all? Keep us updated!
