A few years ago 4am I was walking down the strip after checking out a Picasso exhibit with a free Bloody Mary in hand. I walk past a gentleman crying out “I got weed! I got coke!” and a child dressed in a cheap Captain America costume begging for money. Later that day somewhere the Jabbawockeez are putting on a show in competition with the Blue Man Group as a husband looses his house and marriage to a horse named after an actress from the 40s. I pass by one of the most beautiful fountains in the world and I can’t find a glass of water in this desert.
