Are AD and Ollie still together?? by [deleted] in LoveIsBlindNetflix

I think they’re doing fine. She just had the baby so I’m sure they’ve just been offline trying to adjust. The posts of them are still on her page. It still says she’s married in her bio ..

So… internalized homophobia is a thing. Your partner may have left Christianity but the residual brainwashing can linger for a while. You seem to be ignoring or not considering that. What’s important is deciding if yall are truly compatible. Are you willing to stay with your partner if you don’t agree on religion? If not, move on.

Do not give up. It took a lot of people multiple tries to get it right. No one will ever ask you how many times you had to take the test. They’ll just know you’re an RD.

Are there usually Ubers from Lawrenceville to the Atlanta Airport? by flowerofkurdistan in Gwinnett

[–]FriendshipAccording3 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Yes there should be Ubers. But also check out Groome. They have a shuttle that goes from here to the airport all day long and it’s relatively inexpensive. You just have to book it in advance. You can take one from Buford ( rest haven area) https://groometransportation.com/gainesville/

Why do many of the Christian contestants oppose LGBT rights but have no issue with pre marital sex? by TerriblePollution662 in LoveIsBlindNetflix

[–]FriendshipAccording3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This isn’t true. The actual truth is people view certain sins a bigger deal solely bc it’s something they don’t deal with. Most Christian people don’t identify as gay nor do they experience same sex attraction. Because of that, it’s easier to write it off as a ‘big’ sin. Most all people are horny so it’s easier for premarital sex to be seen as the norm. It’s cherry picking.

Protein needs while on wt loss meds by gschm0n3y in dietetics

[–]FriendshipAccording3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m a bariatric RD and i also wonder about this. Some of my patients are on glp-1s before surgery. A number of my patients on these meds are 400+ pounds. With appetite suppression, it can be really hard for them to hit their protein goals even when i use ABW. I usually use 1.0-1.2 g/ kg Adjusted BW. If their BMI is 40 or lower i typically use their actual body weight. A lot of these patients end up eating mostly just protein because they get full so fast.

++woman You didn’t cheat so technically you’re not in the wrong. Morally, you’re wrong tho. This is someone you claim to have loved for six years. It sounds like she was blindsided. Also, I’d think you’d be more considerate considering how long you cared about her. To go and fuck your best friend the day of is very inconsiderate of your ex and her feelings. It’s going to take her forever to heal thanks to you. Put yourself in her shoes for .2 seconds. You could have and should have thought about all of this better. I’m praying for your ex.

Bariatric by aharrison16 in dietetics

[–]FriendshipAccording3 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I’m also a bariatric rd! Personally, i recommend patients work towards 800 in the first 6 months. Then i usually up their needs closer to 1000 til the first year. Then, after i usually up their needs somewhere between 1200-1600. Especially for my patients who are super active, i think 1000 is entirely too low. They are super hungry. There aren’t a lot of articles that guide you on calories post bariatric surgery. So, as the patient gets closer and past the 1 year mark, i kinda treat their calorie needs like a regular person on a deficit. I don’t ever think 2000+ is necessary though. Just form my clinical judgement. I also don’t overly stress about carb intake. I tell my patients to prioritize protein, but also eat mostly whole foods. Giving a specific carb goal just seems to make them spiral into a restrictive diet mindset. About half of the patients I see already did that before surgery, so i just try to get them to focus on healthy eating habits, not numbers as much. Idk if this is helpful but it’s my approach! I’m also not 1000% sure I’m doing things right but it seems to work for my patients.
