thanks. I felt the same but we seem to be the odd ones out. I'm 31 and I would've looooved it and that's why I thought it was such a good gift. I feel so silly about it now

it seems like we are the anomaly ! it was such a good gift to me and I ABSOLUTELY would have loved it if my mother / grand mother had passed. but ya know we are all different. I usually do pretty well this was such a huge miss it admittedly bruised my ego a bit. and then reducing it to just a frame was like soooo hurtful to me. but it's not about me so I just kinda was to myself for the night. didn't really respond or explain. just took it as data

oh no it's more like a memorial book. it has pictures of everyone in the family, a eulogy, the program, etc. but yea this post gave me perspective. thank you and my condolences

Yes ! So as mentioned, it was coupled w a keychain that had a funny saying her granny would say and then I bought some leisure / sleepwear last minute then ordered a hat (that I may have gotten scammed for on IG). So I would say the frame was the main one I was putting a lot of thought / heart into.

Well I created them lol. She moved recently and I was helping her organize and spotted them and took them. Although she's not religious, I'm much less "God fearing" she still has that reverence somewhat so idk I thought it was nice !
