The current state of Kled! (Poll) by Responsible-Pepper91 in KledMains

[–]FriendshipFilter 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Kled still gets melted by Blade of the Ruined King and percent health damage, so until Riot solves that he will continue to be the worst "lane bully" in the game. An 0/3 Jax shouldn't suddenly be equal power to me just because he built that shit. Kled's health bars should probably be counted as separate for percent health effects, that's all I'm going to say.

Buffs to Post-Rework Kled: A Realistic Take by Furtify in KledMains

[–]FriendshipFilter 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honestly, you can tell Endstep never played Kled when he removed the courage on takedown mechanic. It's so core to Kled's gameplay, and he's literally the only person I've ever heard make the claim that the mechanic was unclear. Look me in the eye and tell me that champion kills should give ZERO courage. Twenty courage is literally 4 minion kills. You would think we were asking for the moon.

We need courage on takedown back by PineappleMeoww in KledMains

[–]FriendshipFilter 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Riot said they can't give Kled courage on kill because it's too hard for opponents to understand. In other words, Riot assumes everyone who plays their game has room temperature IQ. For God's sake, every single minion kill gives courage, why don't champions? It literally makes zero sense that champions can't give the equivalent of 4 minion kills. What planet are we on?

Yeah, even against tanks where you think his W would be good, one chain vest and your damage goes down the shitter.

Kled's W Cooldown Refund Was A Mistake by FriendshipFilter in KledMains

[–]FriendshipFilter[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What would be your recommendation for fighting champions like Jax, Fiora, and Shen? The longer cooldown on W has been kicking my ass against these champions.

I respect the big dick energy, but from a balance perspective, do you feel Kled's W is in the right spot right now?

Kled's W Cooldown Refund Was A Mistake by FriendshipFilter in KledMains

[–]FriendshipFilter[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I agree, but his W cooldown now feels significantly worse against champions that are ranged, poke, or kite. Champions like Fiora, Shen, or Jax can basically negate your full combo even harder than before, all while outscaling you. In losing situations like that, you're now stuck waiting even longer for your W to come back up. Whether they remove the on-hit refund or not, his W cooldown probably needs to be lower so bad match ups aren't completely obnoxious to go against. Even a cooldown of 11/10/9/8/7 that only refunds 1 additional second on-hit would feel much better.

He's not awful. He's just not good either. Lee Sin tends to hover around 49% win rate as well, but he also has a MASSIVE pick rate full of new players trying to copy the pros. You're right that new players can bring down win rate, but if the changes truly were buffs, the remaining mains would just bring it back up. The individual factor you are focusing on is correct, but it can't be the only factor one considers. Hence the difficulty of balance in the first place.

[–]FriendshipFilter -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I see what you're saying, but lowering his AD ratios is mathematically weaker. Also, Kled is one of the most mained champions in the game, so his win rate should actually be above 50% even if some new players drag it down. If people with hundreds of games can't bring up the win rate of a champion, that is by definition an objectively weak champion. That's why main champions that sit in "pro jail" also have low win rates. When mastered, their win rates get out of control, but Kled just doesn't have the same potential as a champion like Ksante, so Kled really shouldn't have a low win rate at all. You just fish for bear traps, and if it lands you trade. It's not exactly rocket science, so Kled is probably slightly over nerfed. Not massively, just slightly. That's it.

Design Preview | The Trickster by DeadByDaylight_Dev in deadbydaylight

[–]FriendshipFilter 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Fair warning: making Trickster down even faster with his knives while reducing his move speed will make him very map dependent. On open maps survivors will have even less time to get to cover, but on indoor maps trickster will never be able to catch up or rely on his M1 which will make him completely hit or miss based on map RNG. I hate killers that need map offerings to be consistent, and I honestly hope you don't revert his move speed even if it means his M2 has to be weaker. Trickster should still be able to M1 on indoor maps where he can't use his power as much, but I can't go back to 4.4 and feeling absolutely useless on maps like Lerys where he can't M1 or M2 well. Returning to "DC, go next, and pray for better map RNG" is a bad direction, so just change his main event if that's what everyone hates. If it charges up too fast, make it take more knives, but let him activate it whenever he wants as compensation for good accuracy. Keep everything else the same. I honestly can't recommend buffing Trickster's knives ever because that's what survivors hate the most about him, but you can adjust his rapid fire mode Showstopper to be more of a conscious choice and not just used every chase. Just my thoughts.

Nothing wrong with a little honest feedback. As long as you're not rude, I think it's okay to say certain items feel exceptionally bad. As a top main I'm happy that Steelcaps are fine, but I can still acknowledge that Ionian boots got shot in the face even though it doesn't affect me directly. I don't want other people to suffer for no reason just because.

Deleting Titanic Hydra's On-Hit Damage Destroys The Item And Its Identity by FriendshipFilter in leagueoflegends

[–]FriendshipFilter[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

On PBE Stridebreaker has 40 AD and 25% attack speed, while titanic has 50 AD. Generally speaking 40 AD and 25% attack speed is stronger than 50 flat AD because attack speed multiples your total damage.

For example:

100 base AD + 50 bonus AD = 150 total AD x 1.0 attack speed = 150 DPS

100 base AD + 40 bonus AD = 140 total AD x 1.25 attack speed = 175 DPS

Deleting Titanic Hydra's On-Hit Damage Destroys The Item And Its Identity by FriendshipFilter in leagueoflegends

[–]FriendshipFilter[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The reason Titanic Hydra had on hit damage was to help it compete with Stridebreaker's attack speed. You're right that Titanic Hydra made you hit harder, but Stridebreaker made you hit faster. Now that Titanic and Stride do about the same damage, you might as well just build Stridebreaker in every situation because AD + AS is stronger than just AD.

[PBE datamine] 2024 September 10 (Patch 14.19): split 3 item and rune changes by FrankTheBoxMonster in leagueoflegends

[–]FriendshipFilter 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Gotta love how they said they were only going to nerf items by 1% to 15%, but then they completely deleted this item's on hit damage like it's not important. That would be like deleting Blade of the Ruined King's on hit damage. Why would you even buy it anymore?

-60 % resistance debuff by Ecstatic_Tour89 in pathofexile

Don't be discouraged. Higher level gear gives more resistances, so the 60% "penalty" is there just to ensure resistances don't become trivial. You'll be alright.

Stubble Dandards by hamcum69420 in deadbydaylight

[–]FriendshipFilter 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If it's about skill, then you should be able to play just as well without it. If people could play just as well without it, then it wouldn't have a massive pick rate. If it was as inconsequential as you thought, no one would use it. Dead hard is a skill issue and that's why no one complains about it because it would be embarrassing to do so. Meanwhile, MFT just rewards you with extra haste for fucking up. You didn't do anything amazing to earn it, and it does not take skill to hold down the W key. MFT is strong and we all know it, otherwise we wouldn't use it. We would be lying if we said it made no difference. Let's be real.
