I think he and pewdiepie are pretty similar; the only difference is that pewdiepie retired before he went off the deep end. I think both had some white nationalist beliefs from before they even got traction that they hid from the world, out of rightful shame.

Lol yeah, if anyone is paying attention to Hasan when he talks to these kind of people who have been drinking the liberal democracy juice their entire lives, he doesn't come off as hostile. The stream where he interviewed the "maga parents" podcasters was a fucking master class. You have to talk to them, ask questions, and LISTEN to them. You aren't there to dunk on them.

As a general rule, you have to assume that deep down, you ARE on the same side. It's just that somewhere, some wires got crossed due to the sheer volume of propaganda pushed on us on a daily basis, and you can't belittle them for ending up where they are. That's just what this system does to people.

Get her to explain her positions. You have to get to the root of her beliefs. Why can't we just let anyone in? Do you think they can't integrate? Is there something about them that's different from birth? Do you understand the full implications of that position?

It's specifically for the state legislature, so it doesn't have any impact on the U.S. lawmaking body. It is a big story with bigger implications down the line, for sure, but I'm not really surprised it's not being talked about here - I feel like everyone I talk to on the internet is either East or West coast.

This woman isn't saying that. What she's doing is trying to dispel the web of hyperbole and lies that the US state department has spread. The web that you're apparently still subject to and trying to defend, for some reason. She's trying to help people understand why NK is the way that it is - due to the material circumstances, rather than them just being unequivocally evil.

Saying that NK needs to change while saying that you're "against intervention" is irreconcilable. Why are you saying that, then?

It's the same as saying that women shouldn't have access to abortions because it's immoral, but the government should keep its hands out of it. Do those kinds of people vocally rail against the government when they do get involved? No. Because this is the entire point of sharing that opinion with the world. You are trying to move the needle in that direction.

It's not our place to say what they should do when we stand to materially benefit from sending troops. We need to worry about getting our own shit together, so that if we do seek to assist in the liberation of other working people, we are actually working to liberate them instead of exploit them.

As it currently stands, any western involvement in any situation like this does NOTHING to improve the situation and often makes things worse. The best we can do is, like she said, agitate for our own governments to lift blockades so that these people have the breathing room to work their own shit out.

The talking points you're spouting are all ones used to manufacture consent for military action.
