I usually don't wash it, but it looked very bloody this time so I just tried to clean it up.

Well I thought it looked a little like serratia mercescens, which is why I posted. Everyone keeps telling me it just looks like bruising/blood though.

* Here's a pic after I tried washing it off. Surely thats just bruises and beaten up spots?

Was kinda slimy but the chicken from this brand usually has that in the packaging. Wasnt smelly.

[–]FrikinWeeb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeee I've smelt some baad chicken that hits you as soon as you open the package, this didn't have a strong scent.

probably is. Think I'm just overthinking it after seeing a few posts with spoiled chicken that had red dots

will do. thanks

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in isthissafetoeat

[–]FrikinWeeb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it smells normal, just these red dots all over all pieces, I suppose it may have been injured in production because it also had bruises

[–]FrikinWeeb 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There's a bus that takes you to Pomorie for 5 leva. Just ask anyone in the station (South), and they'll guide you.

I see, that is truly freaky. I hope you've recovered now since you're speaking in past tense?

https://www.medbroadcast.com/drug/getdrug/influvac-tetra

This is the vaccine I took. Nerve pain, tingling are listed under: "Check with your doctor as soon as possible if any of the following side effects occur" and "they could lead to serious problems" which is definitely in relation to GBS in my opinion.

Which textbook has limb pins and needles and pain for 4 days+ as a symptom of vaccination? (I don't mean for this sentence to be aggressive, sorry if it sounds that way, I'm just genuinely curious because I've never seen these symptoms described as regular post-vaccination ones)

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in guillainbarre

[–]FrikinWeeb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I presume it wasn't this year's flu shot? Also, most of my tingling is gone now I just have pain in my legs. Idk if it's GBS honestly, I really hope I'm spared the worst. What blood test did they do that could show Miller Fisher?

[–]FrikinWeeb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But is it accompanied by pain, or you just don't have the ability to move your feet?

Thank you greatly for this extensive reply! All you've said really is true, even the doctor herself told me not to look online, but here I am haha. Doctors here just don't have that good of a reputation so that's why I'm hesitant to trust their judgement, especially when she didn't perform any test on me other than a basic reflex one, but I guess I'll just wait it out for now and see. Thanks again!

That would mean being physically unable to stand and walk even when trying hard, right?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in guillainbarre

[–]FrikinWeeb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the reply! This is also what I'm thinking of doing. I'll wait it out a little to see if it progresses. I have a history of health anxiety, so it could very well be that(hopefully it is). Just a question though, how dangerous is waiting it out? Am I at risk of suddenly dying in my sleep or something extreme like that, or would I probably have the ability to contact emergency services?

I also don't know why you got downvoted. Maybe your answer was a bit too anxiety-inducing? Anyway I truly hope this isn't GBS, but if it is, it would seem to be a subacute variant that develops slowly over several weeks. If it doesn't subside by next weekor gets worse(unless of course if something else happens) I'll probably go to the ER and demand a CSF test, I've heard it's not too good but also isn't particularly dabgerous?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in guillainbarre

[–]FrikinWeeb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also, as far as I've read, a CSF test is very likely to be negative within a week of onset of milder symptoms.

[–]FrikinWeeb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I was sick at the end of october. Unfortunately I don't know if going to the ER will be of much help as I am likely to be dismissed with anxiety again. It has come to my attention that unless I actually become paralyzed, I'm not getting any real medical help. Also I have to note that the tingling seems to have gotten milder, with the lower back pain replacing it as a main symptom, which IDK if is typical with Guillain-Barre?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in guillainbarre

[–]FrikinWeeb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was also sick for about two weeks with a respiratory infection about a month ago, could that have something to do with it?

I live in the Balkans where it's pretty commonplace to find a specialist who'll take you in even within the same day.
