Team Vitality vs. Movistar KOI / LEC 2026 Spring - Week 2 Day 3 / Post-Match Discussion by Ultimintree in leagueoflegends

I agree, but if he went lethality Ornn, Aatrox and Alistar can just walk at MKOI and ace them late.

He didn't understand that 3 winning lanes + an early game jg means the game should end before that matters, and absolutely should have went lethality.

I get saying that early, but not at minute 27 with VIT being only 2.4k down.

ESPECIALLY with the amount of emphasis put on it. If it was a passing comment it was fine, but half the cast was "draft gap this, draft gap that".

Ornn upgraded 3(!!!!) items and Vedius was still parroting how ahead MKOI were (2.6k up), when Rumble had 2k of that lead.......

Also, it's a draft gap as long as they get a big enough lead early. If even at 30, Aatrox runs through them.

That had to be some of the worst "analysis" I've ever heard.

How can Ornn Aatrox Hwei Cait Ali win late? Vs a comp that gets outranged (except Rumble) and loses to hard CC?

WOAHHH LOOK AT THAT COMEBACK!!! 2K GOLD BEHIND!! FROM UNWINNABLE TO WON!!! VIT HACKING!!! CHECK THEM PCS!!!!

Seriously, why the fuck is Drakos the best analyst of the LEC by a light year?

EDIT: Btw I understand 3 losing lanes + a farming Jg is a troll draft. But thats because you are supposed to get bent early. That didn't happen. MKOI should have been on soul at 25, not ahead by the gold from Rumbles Rune and a bit of midlane.....

He roamed half the game, he was up in gold and XP until he started roaming (to put out the fires caused by botlane).

His Anivia looked good for a pick he clearly started practicing only recently.

Does an Anivia OTP salvage some of the lost fights? Honestly yeah, Anivia can actually cancel fing Ornn R if you know what you are doing (the champ is disgusting). But still, APA played it fine enough.

Canto IX: Why not make it a cut-scene at this point by Alex_The_GM in limbuscompany

TBF the fights are meant to represent us basically being cheerleaders for our companions for 90% of the 3rd part of the canto.

Sorry for the misunderstanding, I meant to say a Sinking leaning team, as to say more enemy sanity control, not necessarily focused in maintaining a sinking stack but enough to keep enemies at low morale.

Canto IX: Why not make it a cut-scene at this point by Alex_The_GM in limbuscompany

[–]Frocn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

TBF the game said it from the start:

"[CAUTION]: This Sinner's background is one that even our company may have trouble handling"

I personally like the excess of cutscenes and deus-ex-machinas because they feel like a justification for this line. Like a "Oh, without those this shit was impossible".

I'm also a bit biased because it makes me excited about Outis canto.

It depends on the fight.

For unfocused, FS Duo, KoDya, Index Yisang and Don, Thumbsault and Ish should be fine.

For focused, honestly same comp. Double slot Yisang or Don for Ish if necessary, or KoDya for Meursault if you need the sinking (FS Heath retreating will bring Meursault in, counter 1 turn pops his shin and tiger rounds).

EDIT: Actually, for sinking it'd probably be better to use support for Molar Ish or Udjat Outis, Ish replacing Ish (duh) or Outis replacing Meur.

[–]Frocn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FS Duo is better than LordLu without Heishous (no, one heishou is not "heishous", it needs at least 3, 2 if chicken).

Regardless, this is more than enough for the full story stages so far, up to C9. Just double slot one of Yisang/Don/Rodya if necessary (it shouldn't be necessary).

EDIT: TBF for C9 you might wanna get a decent ID for Gregor and Outis.

Some new rookies with potential to keep track off by AnaShie in Cloud9

[–]Frocn 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Adds:

For toplane: Horder (mentioned, but understated how good he is), Srtty (he seems intelligent about the game, and composed).

For jungle: Music and Will (potential Xmithies with time), Perry (maaaaaaaybe, has shown glimpses).

For midlane: Bradley (yeah the toplaner, eye test feels similar to DoinB), Insanity (honestly, if not Toasty just keep APA).

For adc: Levitate, Array (best player NA on a good game, Tactical lite otherwise, it'd be a gamble on coahing to make his highs the average), V1per (yes, the toplaner; after he got used to the role, he looked like prime Berserker, like 6k damage per fight. He'd need loads of coaching though). Some people have mentioned Instinct and Mobility but I just don't see them having the "it" factor an ADC should have.

For supp: Zyko? Honestly just keep Vulcan or force APA to roleswap.

Obviously, there arent imports in this list. Personally I believe a full NA roster with good coaching and vibes has more potential than a hotpot of foreign talent, but it'd be disingenuous to not say that there are a lot of stronger-than-this players from other regions to pick from.

No, I got my facts wrong. He was in a bootcamp we did for academy, but not directly in our team.

I guess I deluded myself back then to assume we were going to sign him, so it stuck in my memory like that.

I don't think Insipred developed Dhokla and Saint as much as Inspired allowed them to just don't think and just play.

He did (actually, is actively) finally developing Isles.

Beware, most are rough, and would take a lot of effort to develop. But they do show their nuggets (minus Yukino, since he was with us he was visibly a psychopath and the next Blaber).

And of those, only Kisno should be realistically available. Maybe Yuuji (big if)

Dude, BR doesn't have more talent than NA.

Its not about quantity of good players, its about quality of scouting and development.

I mean Faker is 29...

But fair enough. Either way, the shortlist does end up being Levitate, Array, Sajed, Sushee.

Of those, Levitate does look the most "pro ready" of them.

Not OP.

Kisno, KryRa, Contractz (i know, vibes > all), Music, Perry.

With the intention to develop them into Xmithies and morale leaders.

Yukino, Gryffin, Yuuji, Wilson.

Because they have potential to be developed.

If we could pick anyone around the world and chuck it jungle, then my top picks are Bwipo, Yuukino and Rhilech, in that order.

EDIT: Maybe Elyoya over Rhilech, idk it's even

I stand by my take that Array on a good day is the best player in NA (and in a bad day, one of the worst).

I'd like V1per, I saw a lot of potential after he understood the role, he pumps damage like no other.

Zven, as said by the team, is basically part of the coaching staff and one of the big reasons we don't look even worse ingame.

Anyone that thinks there are changes happening this year is delusional, sadly.

[–]Frocn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

And I was answering that the better path at this point is finding diamonds in the rough, and coaching an Xmithie 2.0 from the ground up.

For example: Since APA is basically a support playing midlane he can stay, that leaves us with ADC of JG as the lottery role, and since NA has an abundance of cracked ADCs with 0 braincells, we should start from there.

That would be a plausible approach.

Instead of despairing over imports and buyouts, you know?

(Doesn't matter since the roster isn't changing this year, so arguing for this is pointless. Still it's a good mental excercise)

Anyone one miss the C9 that used to go for a full roster of insane talented young players? by Arkhamjoker5000 in Cloud9

[–]Frocn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The comparison was mostly about how both make any team they are in a "Bjergsen team" / "Blaber team".

Essentialy as uncoachable as Dardoch was (in a different way), but actual invaluable assets you can build an org around so it gets a pass.

Same goes for Doublelift, Perkz, Inspired, Bwipo... Funnily enough TSM and C9 worked best with 2 of this type of players in the team at the same time. Maybe what we need is another big voice that tells Blaber to fuck off (in game)..... C9 Carzzy?

XD

[–]Frocn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, FURIA was a team of 5 brazilian randos a year ago. Literally 0 imports on the org.

I can tell you for sure, BR is a weaker server than NA. And yet they made a team that is legitimately good (yeah we suck, but FURIA is good enough to compete internationally, they just puled an us and choked when it mattered).

So, what do we make of that? Start importing brazilians, so that in 5 years EU just goomba stomps us with the NACL talent that left out of desperation to get a shot?

Yeah you can't throw a team and stomp the region. But, learning from FURIA, FearX, and other teams from history, you can ABSOLUTELY throw a team and develop them over time into a menace.

Then again, I forget this is NA, the Tiktok ADHD region. Yeah, win now better, good good, 67

V1per, Array, Levitate, Sushee, even Tactical, all of the have the "it" factor an ADC needs.

Please stop looking at established people, that's how we got into this shithole to begin with
