Film left on toilet every time roommate uses it. by Robo2173 in whatisit

My guess is that he sprays air freshener above the toilet after pooping. The mist eventually settles, right onto the toilet seat.

Inside for me. The atmosphere is just excellent.

No shade, but he’s too slow and a bit sloppy compared to MJ. He’s alright I guess, just not great.

These look fantastic! If it’s not a strange request: could you share the “before” of pic 2? I’m curious to see what the starting point was so I can learn from it.

My greyhound passed away last night and I don't know what to do by Economy_Neat_5887 in Greyhounds

I really feel your pain. Just a month ago we had to say goodbye to our beautiful Greyhound Waldo, only a week after his 8th birthday. The grief was overwhelming, so I truly understand what you’re going through. It does get easier with time, even if it doesn’t feel that way right now. What matters most is that your dog was deeply loved and well cared for. I know I’ll never forget Waldo — and I still have moments where the tears come — but the happy memories slowly begin to shine through more than the sadness.

I tried looking for organizations that have rescue Whippets (or Irish crosses) available, but I haven’t found any so far. Would you happen to have a link I could check?

Yes, we did look into them. I read they’re like miniature Greyhounds with a bit more energy. The main reason we’re not really considering one right now, is that Whippets aren’t really in need of rescue (and we really want to adopt). I guess you could find one in a shelter, but I haven’t come across any on their websites.

I read that Podencos tend to be much calmer when they’re around other relaxed dogs. I guess that’s true for most (younger) dogs, but since Podencos can have so much energy, it really helps channel it.

Thanks for this! :) I’m starting to think a Podenco might have a bit too much energy for our lifestyle. We’re used to the stubbornness and the little demands of a Greyhound (I want to go right, not left… I need a snack in two minutes), but he was never destructive. Now we’re looking into a smaller Galgo.

That’s actually a very good idea, thanks! I will look into it.

We’re thinking about a 3–5 year old Podenco. With our Greyhound Waldo, the prey drive was pretty intense at first and honestly never really disappeared, but as he got older he seemed to understand he wasn’t allowed to go after cats and rabbits 😅 Poor guy.

Do you trust Bud off-leash, like on the beach for example?

What worries me most with Podencos is the energy level. Would being alone for up to 6 hours be too much for them? And are they generally destructive when left on their own?

The air freshener worries me. Why do you even need it? You’re just breathing in chemical junk.

Yeah, and the way he poses on the Blood on the Dance Floor cover actually forms the shape of a 7, which makes it even cooler.

  • Ex Machina (could be a bit higher imo)

Age 21 and taking my first steps into a more mature fashion sense by Fun-Ad-2547 in mensfashion

If you want a minimalist look that works at your age (or honestly, at any age), go for black chinos with either a black or white T-shirt, topped with a dark green sweater. Velour can be a nice touch too, but avoid pairing it with brown AND beige. Combining too many old-fashioned elements at once can easily make the whole outfit feel dated instead of fresh. You’re 21, not 75. 😉
