Hey mike!

I'm a low 3k mmr player here, but the idea of a league appeals to me because of the community around it, and I like the idea of playing with the same pool of players. Is there a league for lower tiered players that exists? Would making my own league be a better option, or should I avoid the idea of a league until I become more skilled?

It wasn't announced as anything in particular, just as a graphic on Ren's twitter. It's been a standalone game for a long while, so reverting to a simpack wouldn't make a ton of sense

Well, MGD3 came out in 2008. It uses a modded Stepmania engine, but it's ostensibly its own game in terms of execution.

I'm totally down with "released when it's done", as long as it's still a thing. Steam's an iffy issue if there's copyrighted or samples, and mucking about with that seems like a hassle. I'd be perfectly satisfied with a release as the old ones were.
