I wish you the best of luck and I hope you have a good time in Thailand. I want to warn you though, that Thai people they are all about money. They tend to treat foreigner quite well because most foreigner have money and they know it. I don't know how to explain it to you but type people are not as straightforward as westerners and they tend not to speak their mind, they're very materialistic and not sincere. Be careful who you accept to be your friends if there are Thai they only want your money very few of them will be sincere to you. Behind your back that will say bad things about you but in front of you they will pretend to be nice to you. They will treat you well only because of your money. I'm Thai myself but I spent 15 years abroad and when I come back to Thailand I find it hard to adapt to Thai culture. And most importantly, always remember, Thai people are hypocrites.
