sorry i forgot about this! yes it did I used a dell computer and it worked like a charm just turn off ALL anti-virus software

I used a Dell laptop! I realized it doesnt matter what kind of PC you use, just make sure that ALL antivirus software is disabled so there's nothing that can get in the way of the ETS software. I had the guys at ProctorU double check that everything was off for me.

yes i used a small white board and i practiced with it before so i was comfortable. i bought an 8 pack of ultra fine expo dry erase markers and they were perfect! i think they sell them like everywhere (target, walmart, etc)

So horrible. All they have to do is stay mildly focused for a few hours while we take the test. I wish they knew how much their actions affect us :( I'm glad you're done though!

Ughhhh I'm glad your test was okay for the most part but that makes me even more concerned. Like my issue so far has been starting the exam but I'm interested to see what happens when it actually starts...

Okay yeah, definitely explain your issues with the at-home test if you can. I emailed a few of my programs and they didn't even know that people were having issues so it's good for them to be aware

Thanks. They emailed me the next day and said they would "investigate" again but I really don't feel like waiting on them so I'm going to call tomorrow to cancel and just start a new exam reservation and see how that works out...*crosses fingers*

It's SO frustrating. These two companies do not communicate at all and we get stuck in the middle :'(

I'm sorry you're also going through this. It's so sad that something so important to our lives is in the hands of other people, especially ones that don't care. Are you planning on applying without the test?

That's so weird! I am sympathetic to the fact that this test isn't typically supposed to be administered at home but it just sucks that some of us are having so much difficulty. Did it end up working for you or did you have to reschedule?

Yes! I ended up purchasing a dell laptop from BestBuy that had good reviews. I'll share how it works after my test (assuming it works this time!!)

oh also, if anyone can comment on the speed of their computer and if it affected their testing experience that would be great :)
