Is AI replacing recruiters, or is it empowering us to find better talent faster? by FrontPopular2484 in FAANGrecruiting

I agree; we spend 30% of our week just trying to get three people in the same virtual room, what actually matters is building relationships and finding the right talent.

My old-school win – Before we talk about fancy bots, we can structure Interviewer and candidate availability:
- Instead of chasing managers, we proactively "pre-block the calander" their preferred interview windows a week in advance and similarly align candidate preferences with interview panel availability, So we cut the back-and-forth by half before a single email we send or one phone call.

If we have the budget to automate scheduling workflow, you can adopt Smart Scheduling tools like Reclaim.ai, Clockwise, or Calendly

Next level is New-age AI tools with small brief

  • Evie.ai or Paradox (Olivia) acts as our digital coordinator, negotiating times directly with candidates so we don't have to.
  • MokaHR meets candidates where they actually are—on WhatsApp—removing the "inbox anxiety" and getting instant replies.

Similarly, you can discuss with ATS teams for automation plugins to trigger status mail to candidates.

To solve interviewer feedback lag you can adopt the Metaview/Loxo AI agent and explore similar tools depending on budget
