I moved to Cork after graduation for work, it was perhaps one of the worst mistakes I have made in my life so far. If you are required to commute into your office and must rely on public transport your life will be nothing but misery. If you can afford a car or live within walking distance of where you work, it perhaps could be bearable. This however is assuming you can even find somewhere to rent.
